The Bible says that we ALL have earned Hell, because we ALL have sinned.
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
We reject our Creator, and we choose evil. Therefore, we are on course to justly receive the salary we’ve earned. For the wages of our sin is death.
Romans 6:23a “For the wages of sin is death;”
God, the only righteous judge. The only Just One. The Creator of the human soul. He has appointed unto us ALL to die once, and then be judged. For He alone holds the right to our eternity.
Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”
The eternal Judge is the Just and the Justifier. He alone holds this position. He shares His glory with no man!
Isaiah 48:11 “For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.”
Psalms 24:1 “The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”
He alone is worthy of ALL glory! Only God is Holy. Because He is Just and Holy, He has the right to damn us ALL. If He winked at our sin, that would make Him unjust along with us. God is nothing like us! He is set apart. He is self-existent. He depends upon nothing, and is eternally present. It is the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ that overcomes this eternal chasm between us and Holy God.
The Creator of the universe, became the created, Jesus Christ, in all His glory. He was fully man and fully God, sinless perfection. This is how God attained His position of being the Just and the Justifier.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ, is our only hope. It is this hope which our minds cannot fully perceive, yet our hearts so long to receive. The more we seek Him, the more we see the endless depth of His love.
Romans 5:8-9 “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.”
2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.”
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
How could a loving God send anyone to hell? The answer is, He doesn’t. We were all heading toward Hell, but because He is our Justifier, He snatches us from eternal torment with His mighty hand of Redemption-Jesus Christ.
Romans 3:24-26 “Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time His righteousness: that He might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.”
God does not send anyone to Hell. But God did send His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to save us from Hell. Hell is the place of everlasting torment. The punishment awaiting all who reject Jesus Christ.
Salvation is of the Lord.
God saves you for Himself.
God saves you by Himself.
God saves you from Himself.
