What is a modern day prophet of God? – One who studies the Bible, obeys, and warns others of what is to come. Oh, how we need more men and women to stand and boldly proclaim God’s Word in times like these!
2 Peter 1:20-21 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”
1 Peter 4:16-17 “Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”
God has spoken, yet we still walk according to the flesh. How long will we stick our heads in the sand? How long will we live in our ignorance-bubbles? How long will we just enjoy the pleasures of this world, and not warn others of God’s wrath? How long will we stay comfortable?
