Psalms 9:10 “And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.”
We do not trust that which we do not know. It is easy to say we trust God, but do our actions and obedience prove our trust in God and His Word? Every time we disobey God, we lack in trust of His Word.
The Bible says that “they that know thy name will put their trust in thee”. If we really know God, we will trust in Him. Evidence of our trust is found in obedience to His Word.
This verse does not say that they that know thy name “might” trust God. It says “will” trust God. This indicates that the more we know the Lord, the more we trust in the Lord. Knowing God brings about our trust in Him.
In order for us to know, we must seek, and God does not forsake those who seek Him. This is His promise to us. He will not leave us, nor forsake us. (Hebrews 13:5)
Do you want to trust God more? Then you must seek Him more. God is found in His Holy Word. His Word is true and He keeps His promises. Trust in Him.
